Jake Gyllenhaal assumes the role of Prince Dastan in Disney’s upcoming big-budget movie adaptation of Ubisoft’s video game of the same name. While we can sort-of, maybe forgive the fact that Gyllenhaal doesn’t look anything like a Persian prince, we can’t help but wonder why everyone has a British accent. Is British the new default for “foreign?”

Anyways, a new trailer is out that gives us hope that this movie won’t bomb like the rest of the video game-inspired filmshit out there.
